In order to start accepting online credit card payments from your customers, you need to take the following simple steps:

Shopping Chart

Set up a shopping cart on your website. Just contact us if you need any help.

Merchant Account

Open an Internet merchant account with either Nedbank, ABSA, FNB or Standard Bank.

Complete Application

Complete your MyGate application.

Switching to MyGate

If you are already trading online but wish to change payment gateways, switching to MyGate is a quick and simple process, so you can be up and running within a few days. You will need to take the following steps:

Notify your Bank

Let your bank know that you’re switching payment gateways so that they can make your merchant number available for your MyGate integration.

Switching Gateways

If you wish to avoid downtime while switching payment gateways, we recommend that you set up a new merchant account with Nedbank, ABSA, FNB or Standard Bank. If one of these is your existing merchant bank then ask them to issue a new Internet merchant account.

Complete Application

Once you’ve received your merchant number, you’ll be able to complete your MyGate application.
